How do you measure progress? RoI? The value of taking +200 leaders from their day-to-day work into a 3h masterclass on how to communicate with clarity?
A few days ago, I had the pleasure of sharing communication insights with leaders at a global company. Like so many great companies, they are fine-tuning strategies, plans, and priorities. All of this needs to be communicated as clearly as possible. And that’s not easy.
I claim that most companies don’t have a strategy problem. They have a communication problem, dressed in a strategy suit. I call this the Clarity Gap. Imagine that everyone hears the same message. Does that mean that everyone understood it the same way? Nope.
So we ran a three-hour masterclass where they got loads of concrete tips on how to deliver with energy, empathy, and clarity. We did a self-assessment before and after to see whether their knowledge changed. The results are visible in the image. My client can feel confident that their investment was worth it. An overall +20% increase in their knowledge after only three hours. That is significant!
Does that mean that they are done? No, they still have to walk the talk. Competence is applied knowledge. I will now do 1:1 coaching with many of them.
This is a common request from my clients. A new strategy is about to be launched. Leaders know they need engaged employees who collectively understand the new direction and will act on it. That’s where I come in.
